• Plant visit to School and College students and career guidance given by Leuven from Universities of Brussels.
   

2010

• September 16th: A $2500 donation was made on behalf of the company to the General Byng School. The donation was made to support ongoing improvement projects for the school. CG Employees will also be volunteering their time with the school's "Love to Read" program.

CG in Hungary is working closely together with 3 Universities and 3 Technical Schools in Hungary, for supporting over 30 to 40 graduate engineers each year. (Total donation: EUR 20,000 per annum.) Besides the donation all students visit the factory sites and recieve information on production once a year.

• CG signed an MOU in August 2009, with the ITI in Satpur, Nashik, under Government of India's Public Private Partnership (PPP) programme, for a period of 5 years. Through the MOU CG has committed to develop ITI into a world class training institute.
  
    
   
• Plant visits are continuously arranged by Engineering colleges who visit the various manufacturing locations of CG.
  
     
• The senior leadership of the company is also actively involved in Engineering and Management Institutes as Guest speakers. They help students translate their learnings into practices in the Industry.

• Apprenticeship to university students for 8 months; 6 to 8 students were enrolled annually (Scholarship to Electro Mechanical programme).
   

• CG enjoys a close working relationship with local colleges and educational institutes.  CG nurtures students and provides experiene to all categories of students from business to technical and humanities.  CG works will colleges helping in practical tours and interview practice and techniques, career talks and guidance and ecperience.  We hope to further develop and cement our acadamia interface through the financial year 2011.  In the Financial year 2010 we accommodated over 12 student placements and facilitated local schools.
