Mr. Laurent Demortier succeeds Mr. Trehan as the new CEO and Managing Director of CG and as Additional Director on the Board, w.e.f. June 2, 2011, initially for a period of 5 years. 

Mr. Demortier holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA and a Masters Engineering degree in Physics from Ecole Centrale Marseille, France.

Mr. Sudhir Trehan retired as Managing Director of CG on June 1, 2011. Post his retirement; Mr. Trehan will be the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors in a Non Executive capacity.
